Early type of Hussar saber. As such, it is a combination of the best features of the Hungarian, Turkish and Western European saber. Adapted to fight with a horse, used mainly in hussars, it was also called a hussar broadsword or curved broadsword (sloping).
Saber description:
The shaft of the handle is made of plastic, visible notches filled with brass twisted wire. cutlass. Binding of brass handle, outside image of a crowned eagle. Brass cross-bow guard with a mustache, decorated with ornaments. The bow is open, not connected to the head, protruding at an angle from the shaft of the handle. Brass elements covered with patina, polished in exposed places. Blade made of high-grade steel, not hardened, chrome-plated. Inscriptions on the blade: "VIVAT HUSSAR" and "DEUS SPES MEA". A decorative sling is attached to the handle, made of a material tape ended with a tassel - a burgundy bunch. The blade does not require any maintenance, the chrome layer perfectly protects the saber from rusting. The scabbard is made of wood, pulled with natural leather, decorated with brass pads. Fittings on the sheath and handle made of polished brass.
