Polish Hussars hardened sabre with scabbard 17th century, decorated version. A beautiful gift!
A faithful copy of a 17th century hussar sabre with scabbard. Decorative, hardened sabre for fencing.
The sabre head is forged and hardened to a hardness of 50 HRC. It has a blunt edge of approximately 2.5 mm, so it will not chip or splinter. It has a single shavings running from the pledge to the midpoint of the double-edged pen. The feather begins with a hammer - a widening of the head. The handle shaft wrapped in black leather bound with brass wire - a cutlass. The brass bail of the handle is not connected to the head, with a rosette decoration visible on the outer side. The cap with apron decorated with a floral motif, similar ones are on the crossed hilt and toe. The scabbard is made of wood, covered with natural leather with a "butt" joint. The scabbard fittings are made of brass, their shape and decoration corresponding to the appearance of the handle. The sabre is prepared for a right-handed user.
