A new replica of a Polish hussar saber with a big toe, late 17th century, without scabbard.
Saber description:
Polish hussar saber with finger at the end of the 17th century. The saber blade made of steel, as one of the few richly decorated on both sides, among the floral ornaments on the finger side, the inscription "Husaria", on the other "Jesus Maria Josef Spes Mea". Brass cross-bow guard with mustache, decorated with ornaments. Bow open, not connected to the head, widened in half. Big toe fitted. The shaft of the handle is made of hard wood, covered with black leather, Ribbed braided with silver wire. A decorative sling is attached to the handle. Beautifully made saber.
