Aged Hussar sabre with scabbard 1863, etching "God Save Poland". A sabre of the Hussars, the most effective fighting formation of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, at the time when Poland was really big.
Description of the sabre:
Head made of tool steel, unsharpened, deliberately aged, with visible texture / mottling. On the right lobe, decorated with a floral ornament the inscription "God Save Poland". Cross-barrelled brass hilt with whiskers, decorated with ornaments. The shaft of the handle made of hard wood, covered with shaded brown leather, the notches entwined with copper wire, the so-called cutlass. The scabbard is made of tin, aged - just like the head, with one riffle and movable butt, finished with a spur-fin.

Care:

The replica of the sabre is unsharpened, faithfully reflects the original, however, it does not have any utilitarian features (within the meaning of the Act on Weapons and Ammunition of 21 May 1999 - Journal of Laws of 2012, item 576, as amended).
