Brass Mace on wooden tabloid, head feathers sharp. A gift for the boss
Mace - a double-edged weapon of eastern origin, a metal head mounted on a handle. The head was constructed from 6 to as many as 20 feathers. Mace was used in Europe from the 10th to the 15th century, both by infantry and cavalry, in Poland from the 16th to 18th century it was a sign of officers' power of captains, colonels, lieutenants and ensigns - then they were usually richly decorated, with rounded feathers.
The presented item is a new mace made of brass, complete with a wooden base. APolish product - we support Polish craftsmanship.
The shaft of the mace is a brass turned bar, at the point of the handle wrapped with a decorative white and red cord. The head is made of 6 brass feathers - star twisted elements. The whole looks, as befits an insignia of power, majestic. Highly polished and varnished.
Wooden tabloid of trapezoidal cross-section, fitted with two padded supports of matching diameters. Entirely stained and semi-gloss lacquered.
