Names in English. It is well known that the higher above sea level, the lower the pressure. The higher the pressure, the less variable the weather becomes. With pressures higher than 1020 mbar, we can expect a dry, clear day. In summer it will be just nice weather, in winter the day will probably be frosty (although with the possibility of fog). The pressure in the range of 1005 - 1020 mbar is changeable weather. Moments of brightening can alternate with a passing rain. At pressures below 1000 mbar, the sky will be clouded and we can expect rain. An increase in pressure means an improvement, and conversely a decrease in pressure means a deterioration in the weather. Summer, sudden, pronounced spikes in pressure can indicate severe thunderstorms. A barometer is a very precise device that measures air pressure. For this purpose, it uses the so-called a vacuum can whose walls expand or contract by hundredths of a millimeter depending on changing air pressure. The barometer was scaled at the factory. However, due to e.g. strong shocks, new regulation may become necessary. To do this, use a screwdriver and adjust the screw on the back of the device according to the instructions in the enclosed manual.
