The Colt Python is a powerful pistol that uses the .357 Magnum cartridge. The 6" version was the typical model for uniformed officers in America and generally the most widely sold version.
The colt shown is an exact replica of the original. The replica matches the original in size and weight, and the gun mechanisms are functional. It is possible to reload, fire a so-called dry shot, while the barrel is rotatable and extendable to the side. The replica is made of ZnAl, the handle padding is plastic. The whole is kept in black colour.
