A wonderful replica of the Le Mat Revolver, whose designer is the Paris aristocrat Jean Francois Le Mat. In October 1856, he obtained an American patent for his multi-shot revolver, often referred to as a cartouche or ten-gunner. It differed from most of the revolvers used at the time in that it had a 9-shot magazine and the tenth bullet in the main barrel. This gave a significant advantage over still used single or 5-6 shots. An impressive revolver, not very popular, mainly used by cavalry officers of the South.
The replica is made of ZnAl stupa, in the color of a steel mat with a bit of darker color in the hollows. Handles made of black plastic with a visible non-slip grater.

The possibility of casting the so-called dry shot. Le Mat has a rotary drum with nine cartridges. The drum can be rotated directly - pulling the tap to a half-stretched position or is automatically rotated by the mechanism when the tap is tensioned to its full position. Le Mat also has a movable - sliding bullet dispenser, while the rod located in its lever was marked in the casting. Similarly, the case looks with a small lever on Le Mat's tap - it was marked in the cast, and in fact chose one of the two barrels of this weapon.

Perfectly made replica. Due to the high price, considerable weight and incorrect caliber, the time of this weapon quickly passed. Today it is a collector's rarity, for which you pay several times more than ordinary Colt replicas.
The replica faithfully reflects the original, but it does not have any utility features or the possibility of conversion into a firearm (within the meaning of the Act on weapons and ammunition of May 21, 1999 - Journal of Laws of 2012, item 576, as amended).
