Polish officer's saber wz. 1921 with scabbard on a hanging table, chrome version
We present a beautiful copy of the Polish saber wz. 1921/1922 with a steel scabbard, included on the hanging table. Chrome saber blade. A product of Polish craftsmen.
The most popular Polish saber of the interwar period. Introduced into service by order No. 280 of the Minister of Military Affairs as a regulation for all types of armed forces.
Handguard, bail and cap are made of brass, the handle shaft is wrapped in filigree wire. On the blade there are inscriptions: "HONOR AND FATHER" and "FOR FAITH AND FATHER". The blade is made of steel, polished and chrome plated, but it is not hardened so it is not suitable for fencing. A decorative sling is attached to the handle, made of a material tape ended with a tassel - a burgundy bunch. The blade does not require any maintenance, the chrome layer perfectly protects the saber from rusting. Steel sheath, polished, nickel-plated with one groove consisting of a ring with a link and a movable spike, terminated with a spur. Beautifully made saber, it looks effective on the attached table. Tablo made of plywood, stained and lacquered on mat. On the back of the tabla two hooks to hang on the wall. The work of a Polish craftsman to present melee weapons. Possibility of making a tablet with dedication glued to the middle of the tab above the saber.
