New Polish cavalry sabre, pattern 1917, version without scabbard. Smooth head, without scabbards.
Description of the sabre:
The shaft of the handle made of wood, covered with black leather. Visible notches filled with brass twisted wire, so called cutlass. Closed handle with brass three-pointed hilt. Head in high-grade unhardened steel, held in a semi-matte finish. Both blade lobes smooth, no decoration. Attached to the handle is a decorative sling made of fabric gold tape, ending in a red tang - a bundle of thread.

Care:
We recommend that the head is periodically maintained with a very thin layer of oil e.g.: liquid paraffin. This will help to maintain the high quality of the product.
