THE SUBJECT OF THE AUCTION IS A NEW COPY OF THE OFFICIAL SABER. 1921/1922 WITHOUT SCABBARD IN CHROME VERSION - A WORK OF POLISH CRAFTSMERS.
TEMPLATE DESCRIPTION:
The most popular Polish saber of the interwar period. The shaft of the handle is made of plastic. Visible notches filled with brass twisted wire cutlass. Put into service by order no. 280 of the Minister of Military Affairs as a regulation for all types of armed forces. On the blade there are inscriptions: "HONOR AND FATHER" and "FOR FAITH AND FATHER". The blade is made of steel, polished and chrome plated but it is not hardened so it is not suitable for fencing. A decorative sling is attached to the handle, made of a material tape ended with a tassel - a burgundy bunch. The blade does not require any maintenance, the chrome layer perfectly protects the saber from rusting.
