Handle shaft made of wood, covered with black leather, visible oblique grooves filled with brass twisted wire, so called "cutlass". Handle closed, brass binding, basket-shaped. Tailpiece with an escutcheon, three-pointed. Head of high-grade unhardened steel. On the outer blade beautiful etching: God-Honour-Fatherland. The piston of Gabriel Borowski's Factory of Sequential Arms on the buttstock: G. BOROWSKI | IN WARSAW. On the inner butt the piston of the Main Office of Supply of the Army - GUZA. Attached to the handle is an ornamental sling made of a fabric gold ribbon ending in a red tang - a bundle of thread. The scabbard is made of tin, nickel-plated, with two riffles and movable butt-ends, finished with a spur-finger. Stand made of plywood, stained, varnished in semi-gloss. Double stand, sabre and scabbard lying separately. Dedication may include unit logo, police plate, etc.
