Polish hardened saber Husaria with a scabbard 17th century. Three versions of the finish. A faithful copy of the 17th-century hussar saber. Adapted for use with a horse, used mainly in hussars, it was also called the hussar broadsword or the curved (sloping) broadsword.
The forged and hardened blade is pulled in two furrows.
The handguard with the bail and the cap with the braid are made of brass, while the wooden shaft of the handle is wrapped with natural leather in order to obtain an optimal grip.
The saber is made of high-carbon steel, hardened to a hardness of 48-52 HRC. This blade can be used, for example, during reconstruction performances of historical teams without worrying about its durability.
It has blunt edges with a thickness of about 2.5 mm so that it does not chip or chip off.
It is possible to order the saber in a sharpened version.
The dimension of the saber itself without the scabbard:
The scabbard is made of wood, covered with natural leather, decorated with brass overlays. Leather rapports included.
The scabbard is available in 3 versions:
Beautiful, original saber, excellent workmanship, I recommend your attention!
The saber replica is unsharpened, faithfully reflects the original, but does not have any functional features (within the meaning of the Act on weapons and ammunition of May 21, 1999 - Journal of Laws of 2012, item 576 as amended).
