Perfect replica of the Soviet Shashka saber model 1934.
The saber is currently produced, however, the way it is made makes it look like the original, literally removed from those times. I mean the intentional patina and the effect of aging all the elements of the saber, and of course the signatures minted on both sides of the handle, blades and fittings on the sheath.
The homeland of Shashka is the Caucasus 18th century, in the Gabbard-Circassian language the word Shashka means a long knife.
description:
The brass handle head resembles a stylized bird's head in profile.
Wooden handle, fluted, a leather pad under the handle.
Steel blade, flat back, single-edged blade, not very curved, with visible texture after intentional corrosion.
Wooden scabbard, covered with leather, brass grooves and fittings, steel bayonet with working blockade.
Beautiful thing, I recommend to attention!
